Strides' orthotic methodology was developed in a hospital orthotic/prosthetic department which worked closely with a high-risk foot clinic, and has proven to be effective for a wide range of foot-related problems especially those conditions associated with arthritis and diabetes.
We welcome medical prescriptions, and provide patients with a comprehensive assessment of their foot-related problems along with a recommendation for treatment. We keep detailed confidential patient records which are available to health-care providers upon request. Prescriptions also allow patients to access benefits provided by government agencies and extended health care insurance plans.
Strides Pedorthics is an authorized provider for WCB, ICBC, RCMP Health Services, Veterans Affairs Canada, and BC Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance. As well, Strides works with private extended health care insurance providers.
Strides has built up a steady referral network with Lower Mainland medical doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, podiatrists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, occupational therapists, rehabilitation therapists and community health nurses.
