Foot orthoses (commonly referred to as "orthotics") are appliances fabricated to treat a wide variety of foot-related problems. Orthotics, properly constructed and fitted to appropriate footwear have been proven to successfully treat the vast majority of these problems.
Strides fabricates their orthotics on-site using a hospital proven method that utilizes a wide variety of materials. This enables us to combine support, impact absorption, cushioning, friction reduction, thermo-regulation and other properties of the materials to address the majority of people's foot related problems. Additionally, we can customize the orthotics to fit a wide range of footwear styles so that clients can have supports for their business shoes, their dress shoes, their sport shoes, their sandals, etc, etc. Our orthotics are fully adjustable so that if a client is having difficulty adapting, they can make an appointment to come in and have modifications done, usually while they wait.
Strides is a recognized supplier of custom foot orthotics and with a doctor's prescription your extended medical or government benefit plan will usually cover all or part of your expense. We will assist with all the necessary paperwork to help you access your benefits.
